After many leaks and teases about the phone and most important the gimbal camera system by Vivo, the X50 is finally launched. All the phone feature a hole-punch design with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The X50 and the X50 pro feature a Snapdragon 765G SoC whereas the X50 Pro+ rocks the Snapdragon 865 SoC and runs on Android 10 with the Vivo’s Funtouch skin over it. All the phones have 5G support.
Vivo X50 :
The phone features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with 398ppi and HDR rating. This phone has up to 8Gb of Ram and up to 256Gb of storage. This features Snapdragon 765G SoC with Adreno 620 GPU.
The camera unit on this phone is a quad-camera unit with 48MP main shooter, a 13-megapixel portrait camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. Rear camera features include 20x digital zoom, four-axis OIS, EIS, and more. The front camera is a 32Mp shooter.
There is a 4,200mAh battery with 33W fast charging support with the type-c port.
Vivo X50 Pro:
The phone features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1080×2376 pixels) AMOLED curved-edged display with 398ppi, 92.6% screen-to-body ratio, and HDR10+ support. It is powered by the Snapdragon 765G SoC, paired with Adreno 620 GPU and up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256Gb of storage.
The quad-camera setup on this phone has a 48Mp main shooter with a gimbal technology for image stabilization which according to Vivo is better than the optical image stabilization. Other than that there are a 13MP portrait camera, an 8MP telephoto shooter and an 8MP macro camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera rocks a 32Mp shooter.
The phone has 4,315mAh battery with 33W fast charging support with type-c port.
Vivo X50 Pro+
The Vivo X50 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC, and it has a 50-megapixel main shooter. The display refresh rate on this premium variant goes up to 120Hz, and it also supports 44W fast charging. The phone has a leather finish back panel and supports up to 12GB RAM. Rest of the Vivo X50 Pro+ specifications are identical to that of the Vivo X50 Pro.
